Our Smart Cards seminar was held in Melbourne on the 15th December 2006

In this roundtable style seminar we looked at the smart-card projects now underway in Australia and particularly the government's Access and Welfare card.
The roundtable also discussed the progress and prospects for the upgrading of Australia's EFTPOS terminals to EMV standard so that they can read smart-cards and process smart-card transactions.
