Shell Australia once again made available the Theatrette for the eCommerce network meeting.

Our presenters were Craig Rawlings from Freemarkets and Geoff Ritchie from Coles-Myer.

Both recounted remarkable and innovative plans and activities by their companies in e-commerce.

Many thousands of Australian businesses are expected to be using the e-procurement systems Rawlings demonstrated in coming years because of the obvious savings in B2B on-line auctions.

Coles-Myers too, is looking to both on-line auctions and more sophisticated e-procurement collaboration tools through its participation in the international GlobalNeteXchange.
