Our second seminar on EFTPOS Futures was held in Sydney on Wednesday the 5th of November 2003 from 3.30-5.30pm

The seminar addressed the fact that reforms of EFTPOS debit and credit-card networks are opening up a new future for EFTPOS users, vendors and service providers alike.
The seminar provided an opportunity for all those involved, including retailers, banks, terminal and tele-communications providers, to canvass the various issues.
Senior executives from banks, retailers, petrol and telecommunications companies and industry associations attended the seminar.
including representatives from the Reserve Bank of Australia, Mastercard, American Express, Telstra, Optus, the Australian Retailers Association and the Australian Payemnts Clearing Association.
As well as a round-table discussion, the seminar also saw presentations from ARA Policy Advisor, Melanie Hubbard and and Telstra executive, Rooney Thodey.
